Geico repaired failing elements of our redwood decks (upper and lower). The work was first-rate and accomplished very quickly. Cleanup was excellent, and our decks look new and are safe again. Thank you, Geico!

Great job we couldn’t be more happy with our deck. We had selected Geico Builders because of Mila who went above and beyond just to make sure everything well planned before we even started to build our deck. Our deck looks astonishing. We definitely recommend Mila & Geico Builders.

Overall experience was 5/5. The scope of work we initially hired Geico Builders includes: building a new deck, installing a new pergola, and installing bifold doors and windows. Pros: project management (4/5). Victor was very easy to work with. He made sure all my requests were met. I wanted to use Timbertech instead of Trex, and he worked with me to get the materials for the project. Midway through the project, I asked Victor to install new artificial turf, and he quickly got a team out to do the project so we didn’t have to push the timeline out. There was a small miscommunication in the process for the turf. I wanted a specific brand of turf but got something else. Cons: craftsmanship and attention to detail (3/5). The quality of work was not what I expected. There was no attention to detail, and I had to double-check their work multiple times. Especially some of the mitered corners didn’t line up properly. It seems like the crew didn’t have much experience with bifold doors. I asked them to fix the door adjustment a couple of times, but they made it worse each time, so I ended up doing it myself. The artificial turf that they used was not very filled, so after they installed it, the seams were very noticeable, and some of the nails can be seen through the turf. Victor asked the crew to address the issues, but they can’t really fix all of it. EDIT: Mila and Victor reached out to me right after and wanted to make everything right and address all the issues for me. They came out the next day to go over all the things that need to be addressed. We work out a solution and they completely redo the turf. The result is a lot better.

We hired Geico Builders to replace a retaining wall, some fencing, and to spruce up our front yard, and we are really happy with the results. Brian and Gene (Project Managers) were both onsite regularly, and all the guys that worked on the various projects were friendly, great, and did quality work. They cleaned up every evening, leaving our yard tidy. As with any big project, there were some challenges to overcome, and Brian consistently reassured us that the number one goal is to make sure that we are happy with the results, and they addressed whatever was needed towards that end. Most importantly, the results are awesome! I would definitely recommend Geico for any project.

We are completely satisfied with our backyard, where we wanted to do a complete renovation, making our yard more beautiful and usable, for games with friends, easy access for my dogs and everything else! From the beginning Brian helped us with the choice of materials, locations, colors and many great suggestions. Our Project Manager, Delmar, and Brian did an excellent job updating us and communicating and always responded quickly to any questions or concerns. We had a tight deadline for our project because we wanted to finish before 06/01 - he did our entire project quickly and efficiently! I want to thank you very much, I am very happy, I recommend Geico Builders and together with Brian for all your projects! I hope to work with him soon on our front yard, after all I only have good things to say!

I think these guys are a class act. I hired them to replace a fence with a wall, matching the stucco wall in the front of the property. I solicited three bids. I selected Geico because Brian really listened and was able to write me a bid that separated out the shared costs (with the neighbor) from a few extras I wanted on my side of the wall. Brian was very professional and inspired confidence. They also gave a competitive bid! The guys on the crew were super: no-nonsense, get-it-done types, that did very skilled work on the foundation, framing, and stucco. They used quality materials and did not skimp, despite the fixed cost contract. I would hire them again in a second.

It was a pleasure working with Jean and his crew at Geico Builders. After interviewing several firms, we chose Geico because it was readily evident that they had extensive knowledge, experience and professionalism to carry out our project. Jean was an excellent project manager, very knowledgeable and easy to communicate with. He was on top of every aspect of our remodel and guided us through the whole process. Jean gave excellent advice and creative ideas for our project. We wanted to raise our living room floor and other firms pushed for wood framing. Jean explained that concrete would better support the hardwood flooring we planned. To our amazement, his team installed rebar, poured, and leveled the concrete all in one day. The raised concrete floor was nicely done and we were very happy with it. Their concrete pricing was also very fair. Geico also remodeled our downstairs bathroom and removed a wall between the shower and the sink. The results were fantastic! The finish, fit, and flow were exactly what we envisioned. Special thanks to Jean’s crew for their excellent workmanship and attention to detail. They were hard working, conscientious, and thorough. They also cleaned up every night after their work. We highly recommend Geico Builders!

Geico Builders exceeded our expectations with the pergola and landscaping project they completed for us. From the planning stage to the final touches, the entire team was organized, punctual, and very professional.
